Let's talk about Sans' height

I don't know why this bugs me so much but every time I see a drawing of Sans, he's incredibly short compared to Papyrus. In the game, he's at Papyrus' shoulder like Frisk and Chara. Now, I personally headcannon Frisk to be shorter than Sans because of their age but still, it just bugs me that people make Sans ridiculously short. If he was that short I'm pretty sure all the other monsters wouldn't notice him coming. Also another thing. Alphys would be only a few inches taller than Sans if she straighten her stance. So why is Sans always drawn so short? I don't get it. Tbh, I think it's cute sometimes though so I'll let it go.
